Work in TCI vs TCI Job Finder
Facts about Work in TCI checked: , from its own public pages (sources below).
Work in TCI (local job board) and TCIJobFinder (an independent, free directory of Turks and Caicos vacancies from official sources) cover different things. Here is what each does, and when Work in TCI is the better pick.
When to pick Work in TCI
- You want private-sector jobs that employers post straight to a TCI job board.
- You want employers to be able to find your CV in a resume library.
- You want to hear about TCI job fairs and career events.
Side by side
| Work in TCI | TCIJobFinder | |
|---|---|---|
| What it lists | A job board based in Providenciales where employers post their own openings. It lists full-time, part-time, seasonal, internship and temporary roles in categories from hospitality and construction to office and professional work. It also has a resume/CV library and an events calendar for job fairs and career events (no upcoming events were listed when we checked). | Current Turks and Caicos vacancies collected daily from the TCI Government careers portal, the TCI Airports Authority and official employer careers pages. Each job links to its original advert. Coverage is selective. |
| How you apply | On the site: candidates create a free account, upload a resume/CV and apply for a position. | With the employer, through the original advert. TCIJobFinder does not recruit or accept applications. |
| Job alerts | Weekly job highlights by email (sign-up form on the home page). | Free email alerts by island, category or keyword: daily, weekly or instant. |
| Cost to employers | Paid job posts: $85 for a bundle of 5 posts, $170 for 10, and $40 for a featured post. | Free standard listings. |
What Work in TCI does well
- Employers post vacancies directly, so it can carry roles that are not on an employer careers page or the government portal.
- A resume/CV library lets employers find candidates who have joined it.
- An events calendar for job fairs and career events in TCI.
Using both
TCIJobFinder does not collect Work in TCI listings. It collects adverts from the TCI Government portal, the TCI Airports Authority and official employer careers pages, so the two cover different vacancies and are worth using together.
Pick TCIJobFinder when you want government, Airports Authority and official employer adverts in one list, pages for each island and category, a closing-soon list and free job alerts.
