Quick answers

Where are TCI Government jobs advertised?
On the government careers portal, careers.gov.tc. Its Job Vacancies page lists each post with its department, salary, closing date, location and an APPLY button, and most titles link to the full official advert.
Do I need an account on careers.gov.tc?
The portal has Log In and Register links, and its My Profile and My Applications pages are for signed-in users. The government’s launch announcement says applicants create a user profile with their personal details and upload their supporting documents, so they can reuse them for future applications.
What documents do TCI Government adverts ask for?
Most adverts we reviewed ask for a resume with current contact details, a cover letter, two letters of reference (one preferably from a former employer), copies of educational certificates and a copy of the passport photo page, and say shortlisted candidates must submit a Police Certificate. Some also ask for a TCI Islander Status Card where applicable. Always follow the list in your advert.
What is careers@gov.tc?
It is the email address given in the October 2026 Expression of Interest for President of the Labour Tribunal, which asked for submissions to be emailed there. Other adverts give other routes, so use the address or method stated in the advert you are applying to.
Can I email my application to recruitment@gov.tc?
Only where the advert says so. Some current adverts, such as Emergency Medical Technician, say applications can be hand delivered, faxed to 946-1582 or emailed to recruitment@gov.tc. Many others only say applications should be addressed to the Director, Human Resource Management Directorate, Church Folly, Grand Turk.

Turks and Caicos Islands Government vacancies are advertised on the official careers portal, careers.gov.tc. This guide explains how applying works, based on the portal itself, the government’s announcement of the portal and the application sections of the official adverts, as reviewed on 29 October 2026. TCIJobFinder is independent, is not run by the TCI Government and does not take applications.

1. Find the vacancy on careers.gov.tc

The portal’s Job Vacancies page lists each post with its title, department, salary, closing date and location, plus an APPLY button. Most titles link to the full advert, a PDF or Word document with the duties, qualifications and application procedure. A few listings have no advert link; for those, the portal itself is the place to apply or ask.

You can also browse current government vacancies on TCIJobFinder (75 listed today), with each job page linking back to the official advert.

2. Create a profile and upload your documents

When the government launched the portal on 29 May 2024, it said the portal automates recruitment “from advertisements, to the submission of applications, online shortlisting and notification to candidates on the status of their applications”, and that applicants “will create a user profile” with their personal details and “upload … their application supporting documents” for easier use in future applications. The portal shows Log In and Register links, and My Profile and My Applications pages for signed-in users.

3. Prepare the documents the advert lists

We read the application sections of 60 official adverts on careers.gov.tc on 29 October 2026. The wording is very similar across most of them:

Several adverts warn that applications without all supporting documents will not be processed, and most say only people selected for interview will be contacted. Requirements differ by post, so use the list in your own advert.

4. Send the application where the advert says

The adverts state the route, and it is not the same for every post:

Current public servants: 42 of the 60 adverts say serving officers must apply through their Head of Department.

On TCIJobFinder, 34 of the 75 government job pages listed today show the route stated in their advert in a “How to apply” section. If an advert gives no route, use the portal’s APPLY button.

5. Check the deadline and get help

Each portal listing shows a closing date. Check it, and any time of day in the advert, before you apply. For problems with the portal, its Help page is a contact form.
