This role requires 3+ years of full-time experience operating vessels as a Licensed Captain in the Turks and Caicos Islands, with a strong preference for individuals who have a scuba certification and snorkeling experience. Candidate must have a valid TCI BoatMaster's License, valid STCW, and a valid driver's license with boat trailering experience.
Responsibilities include operation, cleaning, maintenance of a variety of vessels and ensuring vessels are kept up to safety standards. Operating vessels in a manner in compliance with all local regulations and ensuring the safety of all passengers at all times. The role will require the candidate to actively engage with guests and assist other members of the team in all areas of the operation. Willingness to commit to a minimum 1 year contract and reside permanently on South Caicos.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating vessels from 17ft skiffs up to 42ft vessels with multiple outboard engines and navigating both by site, GPS, and chart reading. Luxury experience is strongly, strongly preferred. Flexibility with shifts (including weekends and holidays), willingness to commit to a minimum 1 year contract and reside permanently on South Caicos.
